OMG!!! GACC '07 was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!!! :w00t: Everyone says it rawks!!! :headbang: It made me feel so good to see some of the good comments in blogs of dA doujin we invited to our GACC '07. I can say that we as the working committees for GACC '07, are glad that the event has improved over the years. We worked hard for this event to be a success. I know we all did. Every High Committee and Working Committee had play an important role on making the event a HUGE SUCCESS.

I'm glad to be a part of the Deco Team for GACC '07 :w00t:. It took me a week to finish the stage backdrop graffiti :headache:. Plus, I had to balance my time between classes, a quiz, and tutorials. I skipped a number of lecture classes just bcoz I thot I can't finish my graffiti in time. I had trouble sleeping bcoz again... I was thinking about my graffiti :O_o:. Heck, I didn't even know what day and time it was! m(-_-)m. But it was all worth it. All the back pain, neck pain, the muscle aches, and the headache that I got from finishing the graffiti was all worth it for this HUGE event. I could almost cry T_T...

I posted some personal pics of the event here (click on 'View Photos'): [link]

I have more of my personal pics actually but I'll upload it in my fotopage later. And as for the Cosplay Competition pics, I think the High-Committees will upload them later in a special directory. I'm sooo damn tired!!! Feel like I have died and came back to life! A whole week of non-stop work has taken its toll on me :hmm:.

Now... I feel like sleeping for a whole year!

Ah! You were and helped out at a con! I envy you, despite the hard work you must've put down. Went to one last year and I love it. Got meself a soundtrack when I was there.

Nice page there. I like the layout.

And it was awfully sweet of your boyfriend to come visit you. You must've been happy.

Yeah! I love ACGs... but to tell ya the truth, I never went to any other ACGs here except for the one in my uni. I guess that's the one I can get access to and can be involved. Anyway, where I'm studying is very far from our capital city KL which has all these con thingies :hmm:.

I want to go to Comic Fiesta [link] sometimes. Maybe I'll meet Too-san [link] & Kidchan [link] there too.. or the other guys from RAWR [link] :D

At GACC '07 I bought all the artbook that I think can help me with my skills. Especially RAWR and Too-san's GENESIS. They put some useful tutorials there and share some info on the tools they use for illustrations. I'm sooo excited! :w00t:

Thx for the compliment on the page . I'm a Yazawa Ai fan... so ppl can say whatever they want :D. Some of my highschool friends told me that I'm a Japanese-wannabe freak when they saw my layout. I told them I don't give a damn to what they wanna say... hahaha. Anyway, thx for visiting my page! :w00t:

Well, I think my boyfriend have had too much compliments lately.. hahahaha. Everyone kept saying to me that he's sweet :D. He's gonna give me cavities.. hehehe. Yep, I'm happy coz he's so supportive of everything :)...

The really good ones you do have to travel a bit for, that is true. Traveling is part of the fun, though, if you're doing it with friends. We were about seven going when we went.

Those were good artists, though, and I hope you get to meet them. No fancy artist went to our con. If they did they kept themselves hidden.

There's nothing wrong with a japanese-wannabe freak if they can produce something as good as that which you have.

Hm, you want me to say something bad about your boyfriend then? So that he'll be a less hazard to your health?

Yea... true. It's fun to travel but one thing's for sure... if you spend too much cash on traveling expenses, you won't have enuf cash to shop at comic cons or ACGs... hahahaha... But how come artists at your con stay hidden? Are they too famous to be displayed in public? Scared of being pummeled to death by fans? Hehehe :D

Yea... I guess it struck me and I think I was a japanese-wannabe freak when I fell in love with the first RPG I ever played. It was Final Fantasy VII :D. My sister got back from studying abroad in the states ages ago and said that FFVII was a big hit that time. Ever since I got my hands on it, it became my escape. When I feel like I need to close my self from the world, I'd play FFVII or other RPGs and get sucked into their world.

Back then I always imagine that I could draw or create a fantasy world just like that and work with Square-Enix. What a dreamer! Hahahahhaa. OMG, I AM A FREAK :O_o:. Don't let me scare you though :D. But as I grew older, I realize that my dream can't put food on the table without giving up so much at first. I mean, those art courses aren't cheap ya know and it's kinda wasted over here. I became a boring grownup stuck with responsibilities... and had to get a stable job to pay my study debts coz I'm not a scholar student. I suck in math related things :hmm:.

OMG, sorry for babbling... I just had so many things in my head these few days. So many questions. Btw, hazard? Since when you became overprotective? Hahaha :D. Well, you don't know my bf well to badmouth him... not that I encourage though.. I luv him so much :). I don't care if he's hazardous or not :D.

True, true, that's why you have to make sure to order the tickets a long time beforehand. Doesn't get as expensive then. And no, they're not afraid, it's just that they just don't display themselves if they're very good. The people holding the con seem to focus more on other things.

I think I've always been infatuated with Japan. Just feel like it. FFVII was one of the first RPGs I played myself, but the one that really got me into the genre must've been the predecessor FFVI. I love that game to pieces and I don't think there's a single game I have played and replayed so much as that one.

You speak as if the goal was unreachable. I doubt that. When it comes to graphics you no doubt have talent and I've seen many artists here on dA that have managed to become excellent artists without taking any courses. All there really is to it is that you work hard to achieve it, especially if it is your dream.

I was joking, of course. While I do care for my friends, I hardly believe one's significant other is a damaging aspects to life.
